One account can comprise of more than one entity: main profile plus persona(s). There is only one direct connection between two accounts at the same time regardless of the entity they use to connect with each other.
- If the connection request is initiated virtually, including through the facilitation of a shared contact or shared group, the two accounts will need to use their main profiles.
- The only scenario that either one or both accounts are allowed to connect using the persona is through a direct interaction with one's Passport device.
- If two accounts are currently connected with each other and intentionally or accidentally re-connect through another entity, the previously shared activities using the old entities might be disrupted. If they wish to continue the operation of previously shared activities, they might need to replace the old with the new entity in those activities.
For a group chat of two or more accounts which is not initiated as a sub-channel of a group, there must be direct connection of at least one member with the others for the chat to be active. Otherwise, the chat will be inactive.
