ℹ️ Mutability (n) /ˌmjuː.t̬əˈbɪl.ə.t̬i/: tendency(ability) to change (Definitions from Oxford Languages).
A device can be:
- Active if it’s currently activated and set up to fully function.
- Inactive if it’s deactivated or removed from a Loop. You can deactivate the device within a Loop by clicking “Deactivate Loop” button in Device settings. You can remove a device from a Loop by clicking “Remove device” button in Device settings and move it to another Loop of the same type to activate it again.
- Open if it’s currently unoccupied and set up to be owned. You can make the device open by switching the toggle “Make it open” on.
- Lost if it’s marked as lost by the device owner. You can activate lost mode by switching the toggle “Mark as lost” on. If one of the devices is ‘marked as lost’ the Lost Objects (Loop) will be automatically activated. All lost devices will be governed under the same Lost Objects and lost mode requires location access and enables contacting options on the activation screen. To turn off lost mode, users need to switch the toggle off in Device settings.
- Deleted if it’s being removed from the owner’s account permanently. This action is not reversible. Once deleted, the device can be scanned to activate it again.
